As we sit around our tables
We bow our head for those unable
To realize that in our hearts
They are here and have a part

Join hands now and touch their spirit
With grateful light that they will feel it
Knowing that the love we share
On this day our hearts are there

Keeping faith in all they do
With freedom's glory next to you
And yes, they truly are the reason
We celebrate this special season

With all the faith that we can gather
We pray to God in this their hour
Let them feel the love we share
Reach their spirits every where

Today just like any other day
With one great meaning as we pray
Celebrating freedom's glory
Because of every soldier's story.
